NBG Governors orders deportation of Catholic priest accused of molesting teenager

Northern Bhar El Ghazal State Governor Tong Aken Ngor has ordered the deportation of a catholic priest accused of molesting a teenage boy last week in Nyamlel Catholic Church in Aweil West County.

Speaking to congregations on Sunday, the Governor made a stern warning.

“We are infuriated by the action of the priest who left spreading the word of God and deviated from his doctrines, and as a matter of fact, we can’t condone such unruly preaches to infest and indoctrinate the church and the believers”, said Aken.

Aken said the priest would be arraigned in court and deported out of the state.

The Catholic Church priest was accused last week of molesting a boy in Aweil Central Prison, Northern Bahr El Ghazal state, leading to a demonstration in the church.
